According to sources, Manhunt 2 was leaked for the PS2 due to an employee of Sony. The game was specifically the online version, according to sources. The specific department or employee was not specifically named but they do know for sure it was a Sony employee. Rockstar sent a statement that stated that a former Sony employee had acknowledged responsibility for the unauthorized distribution of the Manhunt 2 that was leaked. The British Board of Film Classification aka Sukey “big brother” rejected the game despite the developers urge to edit the game. The game leaked on the Internet in September.
