Cables, Adapters, and Gear for Your Console
So you have purchased a 1000$ for an LCD and 400$ for a PS3 and go to your “worst buy” store and asked for a HDMI Cable. They tell you the best is a Monster and it will cost you roughly 10$-15$ per feet of cable. They also throw the sales pitch “as any audiophile or home theater system nut (including audio and video) will tell you that your cable prices should be relative to the amount that you pay for a component”. As a picture quality nut myself I can tell you that is the old way of thinking. Most cables are relatively the same weather you get a less expensive cable than a monster cable. As a gamer, the biggest concern for any gamer is the ability for the console to look the best on the television, LCD, or projection TV. I was doing a bit of searching when I came across that website with awesome cables and peripherals for console gaming for super low prices. I have personally ranted about how much I hate high priced cables because they really do not provide much of a difference than cables you can find cheaper. One of my biggest complaint to Monster cables is the absurd price for the minimal increase in cable production and decibel count. These cables are better rated than Monster in regards to quality and output and yet they don’t cost nearly as much as Monster cables. Check them out!
