GdAA seeks AU Senator
The game developers association of Australia is looking to continue to push for a 40% rebate for developers. The game development companies will meet with the Senator to call for a 40% rebate. The CEO of the GDAA feels like the concerns of the industry and the development companies are now being heeded by the government. They are able to now show how much money the industry is now making and the government should be owning up to support them. I think its a good idea. Surprisingly, they don’t have a policy which is now a well over a billion dollar industry. I realize that they are late but as they say its better late than never for the GDAA and the government of Australia.
