Nintendo will be providing existing Wii users the ability to get jackets for their Wiimotes.  The reason: because the current thicker straps arent doing enough to protect people from having slipped Wiimotes.  The jacket actually enhances the grip and cushion while violently swinging the Wiimote!  It has already begun shipment.  You can get up to four free covers by going to this page or calling the Nintendo hot line @ 1-866-431-8367.  This is a good idea but it makes the Wiimote look less sexy in my opinion.  Here is a pic:
