Wii DvD?
According to Nintendo it was absolutely impossible to play DVD’s on the Wii due to its hardware limitation (I don’t see the correlation because it reads DVD enabled game disks) and a hacking organization has proven Nintendo wrong and, in a twisted tale, me right! They (the hacking group) state that any modded Wii can play Dvd’s with an additional boot disk. It makes sense technically and now they have made it make sense in reality. I love when hackers can prove organizations wrong with their own products. It seems to me that Wii pulled DvD playability for a reason. In any case, with enough tweaking, it can be put back and then some! I am glad that hackers are out there because they make things oh so much enjoyable when they tweak them to do things that the consumer wants and not necessarily what the company does. Now if they would somehow have the graphics chip do a bit of HD upscaling and I would be in love lol. Obviously thats a far stretch but a man can dream cant he…
