It looks like Atari is in super financial hardships and the CEO just left the company…Yes, its that bad.  David Pierce resigned and will be handing the game development company over to the CRO (Chief Restructioning Officer…yes there are actually those).  The finances for the company are running dry and it looks like they might need a little boost.  I can definitely foresee Sony taking them on and putting them under the Sony logo and rehauling the organization.  They are looking for a permanent replacement for the CEO and it looks like I want to take charge.  I mean, seriously, how could they not understand the games of today.  Its not hard.  I think they are still trying to perfect Defender and throw on their old games onto a new system (sigh).
