Xbox 360 Arcade Edition
Is soon be released according many sources. The system will be just like the core system today (which means no HDD) and will include:a 256-MB memory card, composite cables, and a wireless controller. The system will either come with two free Xbox Live Arcade games (Pac-Man and Uno) or five XBL Arcade games will be included. The Xbox 360 Arcade edition will launch on October 23rd for $279.99. Lets see how this pans out. On a personal note, I think that the new system should have had a built in hard drive. My biggest concern is games that come out for it which require HDD access. If you are one of the few who does pick up the arcade edition you wont be able to play those types of games which personally stinks. Any amount of hard drive would have been okay. Even a measly 5 gig’er would have been nice.
