Xbox360 Launching New HD DVD Player
My first response is “why?”. Why would Microsoft spend that much time on a already doomed HD Dvd system. It clearly didn’t work in the beginning I do not see what they feel they are getting from reimplementing and beating the same horse, which has not only has died but corpse and been eaten by flesh eating bacteria. Comon Xbox, you really need to submit defeat and put on a Blu Ray player on the 360. According to Mark Bennett, Microsoft feels that it is a good way to Microsoft to go. He said that the HD DVD interactive features work on the HD DVD instead of the blu ray (referring to blue ray not able to do PiP). I think, at the least, if they do not make another blue ray player, they should at least not waste money and time getting another HD DVD player on the market that doesn’t sell.
