Dangerous Dave’s Game Pro

I just grew a little last week and I think I might take a trip down to Las Vegas. I think that is one of the best places anyone can spend their birthdays. the problem I have is finding good deals on hotels in Las Vegas. I did some searching and I found a great place that had Vegas hotels for super cheap. Now, I just need to find some friends to go with so that we can go and party hardy!

It looks like the Xbox 360 is currently looking to take another leap forward by replacing its current 20 Gig HD’s to 60. The reason? The games are now more game and HD intensive and will be better suited to keep a portion of the game on the HD. That means in later years you will have HD’s getting full mighty quickly. It can also have videos and music which will also cause the HD to be full quickly. Its a good idea and I hope that more Xbox 360 users pick one up so that they can play the newer games that require a HD.

One of my good friends was looking to get into the stock market but wanted to get into the super lucrative part of it. I told him about penny stocks and how he should look into getting into the penny stock market. The risks are generally higher than normal stock ownership but overall, I think its better if you are looking to go that route. I find that he is open to getting into the stock market and I feel that he will continue to do well as long as he continues to learn about the market.

It looks like a new space invaders game is being set to launch for the Wii. The game is called “Space Invaders Get Even” and its the aliens perspective of world destruction. You take on the invaders and run amok in 3-d worlds. The UFO is controlled through the nunchuck and the Remote can control the 300 plus invaders. There are only few screen shots of the game shown but from what we can see, it looks like a keeper! Or at the least, it will stir up disturbing memories of your own alien encounter.

So two Gulf oysters walk into a bar. One says to the other “hey, why are you so happy”? The other oyster stops…thinks…and says “because I am considered an aphrodisiac”. The first oyster says “oh, is that why my shell is pointing to a 45 degree angle and I am struck with rigor mortis? The second oyster exclaims “No, its because your an idiot”. Joking aside….even bad joking aside, let me tell you that its not funny when you get Vibrio Vulnificus bacteria. Apparently Wii makes the most ridiculous games in the world. Why in gods name is there a new game coming out called All-Star Cheerleader for the Wii. Are they joking? I think that the Wii has gone to the dogs in regards to making the most ridiculous games in the world. Just because you have the wiimote does NOT mean you should use it for every sort of flip, move, or wrist turn possible. Is it so hard to go back to making games that are good? I know that they maaaaaaaay be trying out a new genre but this gamer says enough is enough! We are sick of these obtuse games.

There are a few things that you can do without….a big screen TV…….a phillips screwdriver…..an eye of newt…but you cant go without life insurance. Many people feel that just because you wont be using it “now” doesn’t mean you wont need it later. In fact, if you care about anything or anyone but yourself, you should get it. One of my friends was going without it and he just had two children. I told him how imperative it was for him to get it and I even told him where he could get a life insurance quote. I just hope he listens to me.

I just have to say how unbelievably awesome Assassins Creed is. I was just in Texas as some of you know due to a bad family circumstance and while I was there, my cousins and I talked about Assassins Creed. They raved and ranted about it as much as I did. I thought that the overall game play was great. I know that many of you have already played it but if you have not, get it. It is great for either PS3 or xbox 360 system. I do prefer the PS3 version because of the controls but they both play great.

One of my good friends was looking for a good way to get pet food. He is sick of the expense that he has when he purchases at the store and really only just purchases pet food at the grocer. I told him he should do away with the middle man and shop online. He was amazed that he could purchase pet food online. I told him to try pet supplies online and they will be able to help him with his purchase and they are really much less than the retailer. He just purchased what he normally does at the store for about half the cost and was amazed at the choice that he had with the online retailer. Now, he can spend more time playing games online. He said thats the greatest gift of all.

Gamepro recently did an article stating the PS3 vs. Xbox 360 and the changes between the two. They had concluded that the PS3 outdid the Xbox 360 on every multi platform game (high profile). What amazes me is that recently I have done my own fact finding missions and particular game developers are the culprit rather than certain games. I would suspect that any game built on one platform will inevitably do better on it than the other but Gamepro states that even if a few of these games were built on one then ported, they still did better on the PS3. It is an interesting read and certainly conforms with the tide that is going the PS3 route.
